The Lodge

The Arnhem Land Barramundi Lodge near Maningrida is one of the Territory’s premier lodges for Barramundi fishing. It’s unique fishing licences allow access to some of Arnhem Land’s most pristine and remote waterways, guaranteeing unbelievable recreational fishing.

In early 2015 Outback Spirit purchased the Arnhem Land Barramundi Lodge with consent from the traditional owners. A major redevelopment included the construction of 12 brand new safari suites, similar to those at our Ngauwudu Safari Camp on the Mitchell Plateau. The restaurant features a large deck and boasts sensational views, the perfect vantage point for a magical sunset over the Tomkinson River floodplains. Our in-house chef will prepare freshly caught Barramundi, so be sure to catch a few to bring back!
