Communication

The Lodge has a phone and fax for emergencies only, as well as satellite phones and VHF radios in each boat.

There is no mobile coverage in the Lodge area. However, there is Telstra mobile phone coverage at Maningrida.

WiFi is available in the area immediately surrounding the main Lodge.

What to take

Lightweight, comfortable clothing to fish in, and lightweight shoes such as sports shoes or deck shoes – perhaps sandals for the evenings.

• A wide-brimmed or neck-shoulder-covering hat and quality polarised sunglasses.
• A tight-fitting baseball-style cap that won’t blow off whilst motoring on the water.
• A camera to photograph the spectacular wildlife, scenery and of course your catches.
• Sunblock tube.
• Any prescription medications, toiletries (soap, linen and towels provided).

Insects

Although there can be mosquitoes about in the evenings, the Lodge and cabins are completely insect screened. The Lodge provides sunscreen and insect repellents for guests to use.
